Sam Jackel is a voice technology expert, who has experience in implementing innovative technology solutions and large scale projects.
Sam is responsible for writing the successful business cases, completing the tender processes and ultimately overseeing the successful execution of the NAB's new natural language speech recognition platform. Sam is experienced in delivering projects on time, on budget and to the level of quality nab customers expect.
Prior to this role, Sam was Voice Channel Manager for NAB's contact centre platform, where he was responsible for defining the strategic position of the banks voice assets. He has initiated projects such as Skills Based Routing, Call Recording / Quality Management and Speech Recognition. Sam also managed the banks Telephone Banking platform which handles close to 60 million customer contacts per year.
Sam has been working in the financial services industry since 1998, and his career has encompassed roles in online banking, customer resolutions, and operational channel management. Sam’s background is in communications engineering, and he has demonstrated knowledge of global trends, current and future state voice technology solutions.
