Dunstone, Dr Ted

Dr Ted Dunstone is the Founder and now Chair of the Technical Committee of the Biometrics Institute. The Technical Committee focuses on the provision of accurate and unbiased technical information, training and education to the Board and members of the Biometrics Institute. It aims to foster leading-edge developments in the Biometrics area, related to both applied and fundamental research into human identification.

He is also the CEO of Biometix, a leading provider of biometric data analysis tools. He is a recognized expert in biometric risk assessment, biometric data-mining and border control. Over the past fifteen years he has provided consultancy services to many government agencies and is a frequent contributor to Australian government debate on the application of biometrics.

The Biometrics Institute is a forum for biometric users and other interested parties and facilitates the responsible use of biometrics.
