Joanne is the Customer Services Manager for TrustPower, New Zealand's forth largest electricity retailer, and is responsible for all the customer touchpoints in the business. Her areas of responsibility include Meter Reading, Billing, Credit and Cash, and of course the Contact Centre.


Joanne has spent 15 years in the customer service industry, specialising in setting up contact centres, both inbound and outbound. After spending 12 years in Auckland, she saw the light and moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty with her family, and has been at TrustPower for 3 and a half years.


After all this time, Joanne still remains very passionate about service, and believes that in the face of strong competitor activity and similar product sets for businesses, service must be treated as a critical competitive advantage to stay ahead of the game.
